THE IC ANON MEME RULES AND INFO ✦ Everything must be from an IC in-world perspective. The meme is specifically a meme populated by Jorgmund's 'junior staff'. That is to say, everyone who doesn't rate their own secretaries. Nurses, mechanics, school folks, and more all have access to the meme. While this meme is in the meme comm, it is real in the game universe and the New Hires and the Jorgmund workers can see it ICly. Rather than other ic anon memes where characters post starters to the meme, this meme operates like real world memes like rpanons. ✦ There are 3 ways to post. When posting as Rig Staff, do it anon. When posting as New Hires that unwisely comment unanon, just do it logged in. If posting as New Hires going anon, do it logged in, but mark "anon" in the subject, so we know it's anon, but can have a laugh over which New Hires are secretly stanning or shitposting. ✦ That said, this meme is an open secret and the person running it could get into Big Trouble if they were found out. One of the things that they do to try to soften the blow if they're ever caught is censor the posts so that nothing too negative about Jorgmund gets posted. Shock collars will always be censored. The actual game mods will not be doing this, the mechanic would just be that the player doesn't write that bit of the post. It's not an obvious gap, either, but thoughtfully done so that people can't just see where it goes. ✦ Beyond sticking to those basics, don't worry about getting anything "wrong." It's a meme and people tend to say stupid things on memes. ✦ You can pretend to write things from the POV of Rig staff sharing the deets on the New Hires. However, they wouldn't share harmful info on the New Hires that could get them into too much trouble with Dickwash, only juicy gossip. Also, if someone is writing from the POV of Rig staff and writes something about your character that your character doesn't actually do, keep in mind that half the time people make shit up. It'll just be false gossip. They're lonely and there's only about a thousand adults on the Rig, they need their soap operas. ✦ For those who remember Legion anon memes, the Rig has much less wacky horny energy. This isn't a case of a maddened fandom desperate for any real or imagined deets. These are bored and lonely workers who have new and sometimes exotic faces around them. Some of them approve of how the New Hires are treated, but the vast majority of the non-executive staff are actually rather bothered by it. They just don't believe there's a way for them to do anything about it without getting themselves into trouble. ✦ The meme is heavily modded and censored, as stated above. This is dangerous for every participant if they're discovered, and the New Hires getting access is a mistake, but not one that the admin feels a need to correct. That said, there won't be heavy moderation from our angle. Anon comments can be deleted by the real mods at the request of players (like say if they made a formatting mistake and want to repost) but there should be no need to delete anything beyond that since it's all IC. ✦ This anon meme is set on January 1st. I don't shampoo that often because it strips all the oils and stuff out. Maybe like once a week at most. Usually more like every 10 days?

We sweat a lot and get grimy, so we shower every day. Though there's some people who say that'll dry your skin out and you shouldn't wash more than just the stink zones, your armpits, butt, and crotch, and definitely don't wash your hair often enough to strip away the oils.

Do you sweat, or do you just pant like a normal cat?

Does the hair on your head feel like hair or is it just more fur?

The reason I'm asking all of these questions is that I've got a girl who's decided she wants to be a cat when she grows up. There's a lot of questions I don't have good answers to.

She'll grow out of it eventually, but I don't want to crush her dreams at such a young age. Not when I've been raising her on "You can be whatever you want." So thanks for helping me with some of those.
