I never said organic life was without its own worth. Every species has its own accomplishments and contains worthwhile individuals.
But I think it's a good thing to acknowledge when a species can outpace your own in almost every field. The Robotican are capable of tremendous depths: physically, scientifically, intellectually, socially, creatively. They can rebuild a ruined world in a day and compose symphonies that can make one weep.
There are two ways to approach this: jealousy at being surpassed or admiration for this next stage of sentient life.
I have chosen to feel admiration. It's natural to want the life that comes after you to surpass you in many respects, and wanting that doesn't negate the guiding hand you've offered it or the examples you've provided for them to emulate.
