He finally looks up at North, catches his gaze, wonders if he'll even believe him. Especially when the last they saw each other (when North was alive) he'd been barely clinging to consciousness and starting a long struggle against mental instability.
"By then, Maine was already out there doing...everything he was doing, and it was too late for any of you. The best I could aim for - for everyone - was revenge."
