"Ah, maybe I'll aim for superhero." A pause. "I got his powers, you know," the lie is carefully laced in. "I'm a big spider-fan and this place made me like him."

He holds up his hands and does the thwip hands - with the finger placement just subtly wrong.

"I guess that means I should do something good with it."

He responded to that first while processing the rest, dropkicks it off the side to focus on all the namedrops.

"Those names don't mean anything to me. The Avengers?" He squints. "What are they avenging?"

He feels different than Robbie, there aren't gaping holes where friends should be, there are gaping holes where there could've been others. So he didn't have to shoulder so much, all the time.

"It's just Spider-Man. Are you telling me you're from a universe that has superheroes, plural?"
