The thump was nothing unusual in a gym, he just glanced in that direction expecting a weight to have hit a mat or something. Someone struggling in one of the machines was not what he expected. Armstrong's appearance hinted it very clearly: something was wrong.

Dojima hurried to the machine. He seemed about to try to lift the press up, but then he saw the readout. That was too much pressure! "Give me a moment!" he encouraged, hoping he'd manage to find the right button on time. Dojima slams a few times the button that looks like it'd reduce the pressure, but it didn't work as quickly as it needed. Instead, he pressed the abort button.

"Get out of there!" he said, hoping the button would work at least for long enough for Armstrong to get out.
